Indian to South Africa schedule over, director Shankar to now Ram Charan’s game changer

Director S Shankar currently has a busy schedule as he has two projects going on simultaneously. He has Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 and Ram Charan’s Game Changer. The production phase of Indian 2 is going on at a brisk pace as the cast and crew of the film traveled to South Africa to shoot some sequences. Now, the director has shared that the cast and crew have wrapped up the latest schedule of the film and will now focus on the climax scene of Game Changer.

Sharing it on Twitter, Shankar shared a picture of himself shaking hands with Kamal Haasan. The two can be seen all smiles in the candid picture. In the sun-kissed photo, the Vikram actor looks dashing in a blue sweatshirt and denim pants while Shankar opted for a black-on-black outfit for the day. The director also confirmed that the next schedule of Indian 2 will begin in May. The caption of the tweet read, “Thank you Kamal Haasan sir for this power-packed schedule. See you in May! Heading to the gamechanger from Indian 2 for the climax!

Last Saturday, the director shared a picture of himself walking down a sandy road with flower beds by the side of the road. “Here’s what it looks like (with a pink flower emoji) on the way to wrapping up our schedule in South Africa,” she captioned the tweet.

Indian 2, a sequel to the 1996 classic of the same title, stars Kamal Haasan as an aging freedom fighter who decides to wage a war against corruption. The film also stars Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady. The star cast of the film also includes Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha and Siddharth. Indian 2 is produced by Subaskaran Aliraja and Udhayanidhi Stalin under the banner of Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies.

Game Changer, on the other hand, is a political thriller featuring Ram Charan in a stylish new avatar. Kiara Advani is with him in the film.
