The two-day meeting of the G-20 Infrastructure Working Group (IWG) will begin shortly in Maharashtra from Monday. The meeting will brainstorm various investment approaches in the strategy of the participating country and organization. According to an official briefing, the meeting will be attended by 65 delegates from IWG member states, guest nations and international organizations invited by India. During this, they will discuss the 2023 infrastructure agenda under the G-20 chairmanship of India.

Remarkably, the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, and the Government of India are hosting the two-day meeting of the IWG, while Australia and the administration are co-chairs.

In accordance with the Strategy, the G-20 Infrastructure Working Group will consider various forms of investment in the Strategy, including promoting quality investment in infrastructure and identifying the vestiges of rationalizing the economic approach to investment in the Strategy.
