Indus Community Playtest 2 Registration Live; Experience the Made-in-India Battle Royale at Comic Con

The second playtest of the Indo-futuristic battle royale game Indus will take place on November 19 and 20 at Comic Con Bengaluru. Indus is currently under development at Pune-based developer, Supergaming, and will launch on mobile, PC and consoles.

SuperGaming already held a playtest earlier this year in August; This incident will be the second time the community will lay its hands on Sindhu. The second Playtest event is currently invite-only and interested gamers can sign up for access through Form,

Developer, Supergaming, claims that the second playtest during Comic Con will allow players to access the latest builds of Indus and play against fellow community members and the developers themselves. The second playtest also introduces many changes compared to the first playtest in August.

These are the changes players can expect:

  • Better view, atmosphere and foliage.
  • UI and menu improvements.
  • New weapons, melee combat, and gyro support.
  • New playable Paragon (Indus character skins).
  • 60 fps framerate target.
  • Unlike the single realm of the original Playtest, the entire map of Virlock will be playable to demonstrate the scope of the battle royale.
  • Hosting 250 players to check out the game versus 25 of the first playtest. Ten instances of 25 players at any one time.

Players are welcome to share feedback to impress Supergaming as it makes “the most ambitious title yet.” In addition, all invited players receive an Indus Battle Kit containing memorabilia to celebrate Supergaming’s community and collaborative gaming.

Although there are a limited number of entries, those selected to participate in the event will be notified by email or phone.

Pune-based Supergaming is also the developer behind MaskGun and Silly Royale Games.

“Indus is at a stage where within the dev teams we are able to play it regularly in-house, with all the feedback from our first community playtest,” says Supergaming co-founder and CEO Robbie John. “Now we want to open it up to all of you to try it out – bugs, glitches and all. Your feedback will help us make a better game.”
