Private sector lender IndusInd Bank has filed a petition before the NCLT to initiate insolvency proceedings against Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (Zeal).
IndusInd Bank in its petition before the Mumbai bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has claimed default of Rs 83.08 crore against the media and entertainment firm, ZEEL said in a filing in a regulatory update late on Friday.
“An application has been filed before NCLT, Mumbai for initiating Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) against the company by IndusInd Bank Ltd, claiming to be a financial creditor, claiming default of ₹ 83.08 crore is,” it said.
