Infosys’ IT portal continues to experience glitch issues since launch in June 2021

Several users reported a problem accessing the IT portal and thought it was hacked on June 7. But the Income Tax Department said that software services provider Infosys has been directed to look into an issue with the search option on the e-filing portal and resolve the issue. Now the priority.

Sitharaman had expressed “deep disappointment” over the persistence of glitches even after more than two months after the portal’s launch and gave Infosys time till September 15 to resolve the issues.

The government’s deadline for Infosys to fix problems with the income tax portal expired, but taxpayers continued to express dissatisfaction over the glitches.
