New Delhi: Experienced doubles ace Rohan Bopanna India’s upcoming Davis Cup Tie against Norway due to knee injury.
India will play an away tie on 16 and 17 September.
Other members of the squad are Sumit Nagal, Ramkumar Ramanathan, Prajnesh Gunneswaran, Yuki Bhambri and Mukund Sasikumar.
“I have had to take a hard call against my continued love and dedication towards representing the country this week and withdrawing from the Davis Cup team against Norway. I have a swollen knee and I need to rest it before I can start competing again. has been advised,” Bopanna tweeted.

It remains to be seen if Saket Myneni Bopanna has been selected for the doubles match as he has recently formed a successful pairing with Yuki Bhambri at the Challenger level.
