The Innova Crysta Diesel will relaunch with price announcement sometime this month and bookings have started with deliveries expected from April. Despite the Innova Crysta being targeted at driver-driven buyers and fleet operators, the company claims that a good chunk of bookings are being received from individual buyers as well. One of the major reasons is that the new Innova Highcross does not feature a diesel engine, but only comes with petrol or petrol-hybrid powertrains.
The mid-level Innova Crysta VX and top-spec ZX will reach showrooms for customer deliveries only by June or July.
Prices of the relaunched Innova Crysta diesel are expected to start from the ₹20 lakh mark (ex-showroom), with the top-spec Innova Crysta ZX around ₹27 lakh. In comparison, the Innova Hycross hybrid line-up starts at Rs 24.01 lakh for the VX variant, going up to Rs 28.97 lakh for the top-spec Innova Hycross ZX (O).
