Instagram is rolling out its scheduling feature

Instagram already has this feature for posts but now creators are getting more tools to enhance their experience on the app.

Instagram is moving beyond photos and videos, with the platform equally focused on content and messages. And to show its importance, Instagram is bringing the Scheduled Post and Reel feature for the users. You could say this feature already exists, but now Instagram wants to help creators get their content scheduled for up to 75 days.

The new tool is available in the Advanced Settings section of the Instagram app. Instagram has confirmed that this option will be rolled out to users in the coming weeks.

In addition, the app now has an Achievements section which also caters to the creators on the app. Instagram realizes the potential of this market, and with new initiatives like this one, the app wants to give creators more incentives to stay on its platform.

The app will let them know when they’ve made an achievement, and creators can also keep track of all the rewards they’ve earned from their activities on Instagram.

The platform is testing new ways to attract more users, one of them shifting its focus to video over photos, something that Instagram head Adam Mosseri has talked about over the past few months. Instagram has tested the 9:16 format for posts, which did not go down well with users and Mosseri & Co. decided to withdraw it.

Meta is making sweeping changes to its content policies, which includes Instagram. Users on the app will get better protection against hate messages, allowing users to block such accounts and more updates. You also have the Hidden Words feature that will automatically remove all unwanted content from comments users receive through a post on the platform.
