International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on 8 March. The purpose of celebrating Women’s Day is to recognize the various contributions of women to the society and to raise awareness about gender equality. On this day, people often shout for the women who are important to them. So every year on International Women’s Day, social media is flooded with posts dedicated to strong women, women who have done something different – and this year is no different.
