This isn’t the first time the tech giant has used the Glass concept for a device, and the patent has been doing so for the past eight years, according to Apple. But will this device be commercially and practically viable? There is a mirror all around it and only the mirror. The device may survive but it cannot remain scratch-free. The horror of paying so much when you’ve already paid so much. Also, having only glass in the body means a heavy iPhone. People don’t want their iPhones (or any smartphone, for that matter) to feel like a slab of brick. We honestly have serious doubts about whether the device will make it to market unless Apple plans to spring some surprises about it that it alone knows.
