iPhone: Photos of your iPhone can win you a gold bar, here’s why – Times of India

iphone cameraThe skill of is rather famous. between smartphones, iPhone Cameras have always been considered one of the better. Like every year, the iPhone Photography Awards (IPPA) are here and calling for submissions to be made for the best pictures clicked from the iPhone.
Now in their 15th edition, the IPPA is held to recognize and reward the best images taken on the iPhone. Here are all the details:
Who can enter the contest?
The IPPA explicitly states that entries are open worldwide to photographers using an iPhone or iPad. However, photos must not be previously published anywhere, but posts on personal accounts (Facebook, Instagram etc.) are eligible. Photos should not be converted in any desktop image processing program such as Photoshop. It’s fine to use any iOS app.
Can you use other apps, Lens?
Yes you can. Use of any iPhone/iPad app is allowed. iPhone add-on lenses can also be used. In some cases IPPA may ask the original image to verify that it was taken with an iPhone, iPad, or iPod.
what do the winners get
The first place winner in 18 categories will win a gold bar from “The Most Recognized Private Gold Mint in the World”. The second and third place winners in 18 categories will win the platinum bar. In addition, one grand prize winner will receive an iPad Air and the top 3 winners will each receive an Apple Watch Series 3.
What is the admission fee, last date and other details
The last date for submission is March 31, 2022. Those who wish to enter the contest must pay an entry fee of $5.50 for a single image. You can also get discounts for multiple images and there is no limit to the number of images you can submit.

There are 18 categories in which you can submit your photos and they include Abstract, Animals, Architecture, Children, Cityscape, Landscape, Lifestyle, Nature, People, Portrait, Series (3 images), Still life, Sunset, Travel. and others. Keep in mind that this is not an “official” Apple Photography Award, but is organized by an independent body.
