And, it came as a surprise that Mr Mahindra had some thoughts to share ahead of the IPL 2023 final match on Sunday [May 28], In a tweet, Mr Mahindra made a very difficult choice between Shubman Gill, the rising star of Gujarat Titans, and former Indian captain and cricket icon Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is leading the Chennai Super Kings.
Mr Mahindra wrote, “I was asked which team I am supporting tonight in the #IPL2023Final. Well I believe in Shubman [Gill]Has talent and would love to see him blossom tonight but I am a huge #MSDhoni fan and hope he shows the way to glory tonight. So let the best team win…!

However, fans will have to wait for a few more hours to see who will be the champion of this season. IPL final match was pushed to reserve day on May 29 due to incessant rain in Motera [Monday],
This happened after heavy rain half an hour before the match, making it impossible to start play at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Given that there is no rain forecast on Monday, the fans are hopeful that they will get to witness an exciting final match.
