Times Internet Limited wins IPL overseas broadcast rights with Viacom18. Package D with a base price of Rs 3 crore per game with overseas TV and digital rights on offer was sold to Viacom18 and Times Internet for over 1300 crores. The BCCI earned 48,390 crores ($6.20 billion) through IPL media rights for a period of five years starting 2023. Disney Star retained its Indian sub-continent TV rights for Rs 23,575 crore. The Bharat Digital rights deal was acquired by Reliance-backed Viacom18 for Rs 20,500 crore, which also won the non-exclusive Package C, and paid Rs 2991 crore.
