ATK Mohun Bagan Kerala Blasters will take on FC in the season-opening clash of the Indian Super League on November 19 and then SC will take on East Bengal in the first derby a week later, the organizers announced on Monday. East Bengal will begin their season with a match against Jamshedpur FC on November 21, while title-holder Mumbai City FC will test FC Goa’s resilience afresh the next day.
The first installment of India’s premier derby, the SC East Bengal vs ATK Mohun Bagan match will be played on November 27.
There will be 115 games in the 2021–22 season, of which only the first 11 rounds, including 55 matches, slated to run until January 9, 2022, have been unveiled so far.
The matches will be played in Goa and the double headers will be played on Saturday and the second game will start at 9:30 pm. The regular weekday schedule remains unchanged, with matches starting at 7:30 pm.
