Israeli troops raid offices of Palestinian rights group – Times of India

Ramallah: Israeli security forces raided the offices of several Palestinian human rights groups on Thursday Western coastWhich the state has dubbed a “terrorist organisation”.
The army said soldiers and police officers “shut down seven institutions and confiscated property” in the overnight raid.

In a tweet, senior Palestinian Authority official Hussein al-Sheikh described the raids as “an attempt to silence the voices of truth and justice”.
They come after the Defense Minister of Israel Benny Gantzo announced on Wednesday that the terrorist designations of the three groups have been passed into law.
A statement from Gantz’s office said the other three, who challenged their terror designations, had their appeals dismissed.
Israeli forces also raided the offices of the seventh organization – the Union of Health Work Committees – which Israel banned from operating in the West Bank in 2020.
