It is not right to talk about making a law for population control: Bihar CM

Shoonya Kumar has termed the demand for a law to control population as wrong.

Bihar News: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar (Nitish Kumar) has termed the demand for a law on population control as unnecessary. Unni said that this would be a wrong move and nothing would be achieved by it. According to the Chief Minister, the solution to this problem can only be through awareness. The CM said, “Some people say that there should be a law that not more than two will be born in a family.” He said that making laws is very bad, it is a wrong thing but we are doing this work (spreading awareness).

It is a matter of concern that in the beginning of this month, there was a ruckus in Bihar regarding the statements of Niku regarding population control. The outgoing Kumar had said that there will be no population control in Bihar as men do not take responsibility while women are illiterate. The opposition party BJP had strongly reacted to his remarks.

The CM of Bihar, while giving a message to a public in Shaleen, said, “Women study, the birth rate will decrease… still the same. … If women study, they get knowledge of everything, brother, how are we?” Want to avoid. If women would get or catch a better education, they would know how to protect themselves from getting pregnant. Men are not ready to consider.”
