When it’s Sunday, you know the food is going to be special. After surviving the week, we all deserve to indulge in delicious dishes. Now, nothing is better than the comfort that a home-cooked meal gives – whether it’s a plate full rice and beans, chicken curry or dal dish. For many of us, having a wholesome Sunday meal with the family is a luxury that cannot be exchanged for anything else. Anshula Kapoor also seems to agree that she seemed to be enjoying herself lentil dish among other dishes this Sunday.

Anshula Kapoor shared glimpses of her family lunch on Instagram Stories where we can see some scrumptious dishes including dal pakwan, rice and rajma along with some chutneys. “Dal Pakwan Sunday,” she wrote.

Looks like Anshula was craving something sweet after the meal as she asked about a place where she can get the best banana pie. “Mumbai Peeping Help Me! Please share the name of the baker/insta handle or contact info of the best banana pie you have in town,” read the text.

Of course, this was not the first time we have seen Anshula giving preference desi food On any other fancy dishes. Last month, she gave a desi twist to Thai style raw papaya salad and shared a photo of it with us. He wrote, “Desi style raw papaya salad on the go.” For dinner too, Anshula opted for the classic Indian combo of dal chawal and Paneer Butter Masala, “IDK why I documented almost all my meals here today but now there you have it. Dinner tha (heart eye emojis),” read the caption. Earlier Anshula expressed her love for bhindi Lady finger and asked, “Can you also have Lady finger Every day? Or is it just me” She also posted a picture of a plate full of bhindi and some delicious looking curry and rice.
