Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the result for class 10 and class 12 science, however, students who had enrolled in class 12 arts and commerce stream are still waiting for their results. It is likely that Jharkhand Board 12th Commerce and Arts stream students will also get their results soon. The results will be declared through a press conference and students will be able to download their mark sheets from jac.nic.in and jharresults.nic.in.
The results will also be available on News18. To check result directly with News18.com, students need to fill the form given below and it will display their mark sheet. However, this facility will be available only after the declaration of result through press conference.
The online result will act as a provisional mark sheet. Students can get admission on the basis of the same or can apply for the entrance test, however, at the time of admission, they need to provide the official mark sheet as per the general rule, however, the criteria may change from college to college .
To qualify JAC 12th Arts and Commerce exam, students need to score at least 33 per cent marks. This applies to each subject as well as the whole. Students who get 33 per cent in aggregate but fail in one or two subjects will get a chance to take compartmental examination, however, students who could not clear any examination will have to repeat one year.
The Jharkhand Board had earlier told the media that since there were more students in Arts and Commerce and evaluation of these papers was taking more time, the Board decided to split the declaration of 12th result. More than 2 lakh students applied for arts while over 30,000 students applied for commerce.
In Class 12 Science, 92.19 percent students have passed the exam. Girls have fared better with 92.24 per cent passing the exam, while boys’ pass percentage was 92.16 per cent. Science results were declared along with class 10.
