Jagan Mohan Reddy’s flight returned to Gannavaram airport

Vijayawada:

An Andhra Pradesh government aircraft with Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy returned to the Gannavaram airport about 24 minutes after take-off as it developed a technical snag, according to an official statement.

The Chief Minister was on his way to the national capital to attend a preparatory meeting for the Global Investors Summit.

“The aircraft carrying the CM and his team of officials took off at 5:03 pm to travel to Delhi. After a while, the pilot noticed a technical glitch in the aircraft and the flight was diverted back,” the statement said. “

The Vijayawada-Delhi flight returned to the parking bay at 5:27 pm.

The statement said that the chief minister has reached his Tadepalli residence.

It added that the authorities are making alternative arrangements for the chief minister’s visit to Delhi.
