Jaguar F-Type 75 special edition turns out to be the sports car’s last storm: What’s special – Times of India

A type of animal Land Rover India has introduced the F-Type 75 Special Edition to celebrate 75 years of Jaguar sports cars in 2023. The 75 Special Edition variant will also mark the final model update of the F-Type, before the production side is phased out. EVS. The special edition is being offered in two variants – the F-Type 75 and the F-Type R75, in both coupe and convertible body styles.
Changes include unique badging on the front fenders, 20-inch gloss black wheels, Windsor leather performance seats along with interior improvements to make it stand out. The special edition version of the sports car gets a new Jeolla Green metallic paint scheme.
Here, Jaguar will offer the F-Type in three engine configurations including the F-Type R-Dynamic with a 2.0-litre four-pot turbo-petrol motor with 300 PS and rear-wheel drive; the F-Type 75 with the same engine as the optional 5.0-litre supercharged V8 with 450 PS and 580 Nm, with RWD and all-wheel drive options; and the F-Type R75, which gets the same 5.0-litre mill, but in this case, churns out 575 PS of maximum power and 700 Nm of torque with standard all-wheel drive.

Jaguar claims that the F-Type R75 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, while the top speed is an electronically limited 186 mph. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed quickshift automatic transmission. Jaguar says that each engine configuration is mated to a switchable active exhaust system as standard.
The company has revealed that the first customer deliveries begin in January 2023 – the year that marks 75 years of Jaguar sports cars. Pricing for the India-specific model is yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, Jaguar has also confirmed its decision to go full-electric from 2025.
