Jaguar Land Rover has announced a multi-year partnership with Nvidia to adopt its AI chipset platform Drive. The two will jointly develop an autonomous driving system and AI enabled in-car experience that could be a virtual assistant that will be deployed by 2025. From 2025 all Jaguar Land Rover vehicles will be equipped with Nvidia’s Drive Platform which includes a combination of hardware. and software that includes proactive safety features with automatic driving and advanced parking systems and ADAS capability. There will also be a system that monitors the driver and the occupant using computer vision techniques.

The system integrates Nvidia Drive Hyperion and Drive Orin autonomous vehicle processors with Jaguar Land Rover operating system for safety, security, networking, surround sensors. Jaguar Land Rover will also harness the power of an Nvidia DGX server grade GPU for training AI models in the data center, built on top drive SIMD software built on the Nvidia Omniverse platform.
