On the Shivling, the fifth face is that of ‘Vamdev’ which is the calm, peaceful and poetic side of Lord Shiva. Goddess Durga, who is believed to be the consort of Lord Shiva, is also known as Vamika. Apart from this, the special thing about this name is that the first letter ‘V’ of his name has been taken from father Virat and the last two letters ‘Ka’ have been taken from mother Anushka.
