Jailed don-politician Mukhtar Ansari’s son questions his ‘sudden’ transfer to Lucknow jail for court hearing

Mukhtar Ansari’s son and Mau MLA Abbas Ansari expressed concern over the sudden shifting of the jailed don-politician from Banda jail to Lucknow for a court hearing late on Sunday.

“Preparations are being made to move ex-MLA Mukhtar Ansari sahib from Bahinanda Jail to Lucknow late night,” tweeted Mukhtar Ansari’s son, adding that his medical was canceled as a conspiracy and that the transfer was a big one. There are signs of an unpleasant event.

After the tweet of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) MLA, senior administrative officers along with ADM, SP, CMO and doctor reached Banda jail. However, the officials remained silent on the speculations about the transfer of Mukhtar Ansari.

According to the information, Mukhtar Ansari is to appear in Lucknow court on Monday in the fake documents case of enemy property. The convoy carrying Mukhtar Ansari left Banda Jail on Monday morning with heavy security arrangements.

In another tweet, Abbas tweeted visuals of an unnumbered vehicle entering the jail premises and expressed concern over Mukhtar Ansar’s safety. In April last year, Mukhtar Ansari was shifted from Ropar Jail to Banda Jail in Punjab.
