Prabha Khaitan Foundation and Rajasthan Tourism Department are collaborating to organize a literary festival “Shahrnama Kahani: Apne Shahro”. Rajasthan Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh on Wednesday announced that the festival will feature writers who have written about historical cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur, Delhi, Pushkar, Bhopal and Lucknow.
“They will discuss their life experiences, folk tales, heritage, literature, cuisine and the importance of the past ages and megaliths,” the minister said. He further said that the ministry is dedicated to promoting the tourism industry and several initiatives are being taken to support traditional artistes.
