Janhvi arrived late for the event with around 20 bouncers, adding to the confusion
“I was invited for the launch by the store owners and since they were friends, I went to the mall and was also looking forward to meeting Janhvi. She was supposed to reach by 8.30 pm, but she came late by one and a half hours. By then the news had come that the actress would come to the store and a huge crowd had gathered there. The security at the shop was clearly overcrowded and there was almost a stampede when Janhvi arrived. There were just too many guests. Some of us were pushed and some fell into the scuffle,” informs a local person present for the launch.

However, the store’s spokesperson denied the incident and said, “Nothing like this happened. There were a lot of security guards and of course there were guests too. But as in the journey of a celebrity, people get excited for selfies and are asked to step back. I know as per the plan, Janhvi was supposed to stay at the store for sometime but because she was getting delayed in coming, she didn’t stay for long and just did a photoshoot and left. ,
