This comes after the CM on Wednesday raised doubts that a key ally Upendra Kushwaha, who recently fell out of favor with him, may be aligning with the BJP.

The ongoing crisis in the Janata Dal (United) gathered momentum this week after the chief minister Nitish Kumar Senior party leader Upendra Kushwaha was asked to leave the party and join BJP.

Speaking on the sidelines of a function in Patna, Nitish Kumar said, “Those who keep on speaking… only go to the BJP. The sooner he wants to go, the more he keeps saying.

This comes after the CM raised doubts on Wednesday that Upendra Kushwaha, a key ally who has fallen out of favor with him of late, may be aligning with the BJP.

Kumar was talking to the media when he claimed that the party has become “vulnerable” in recent times and senior party leaders remained in touch with the BJP despite their bitter split in August last year.

He should name at least one leader who is in touch (with the BJP). The one who himself wants to be contacted is making such allegations. He can chatter as long as he wants and leave the day he wants.” 50 lakhs less than 75 lakhs”. PTI quoted Nitish Kumar as saying this.

Kushwaha, who returned to the JD(U) in 2021 after eight years, was rewarded with a post in the Legislative Council. However, when things turned sour between the two

There were reports in the media that Kushwaha could become the deputy CM.

The claim drew a strong rebuttal from Kumar, who made it clear that RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav would remain the sole occupant.

The party believed that the reports may have come out at the behest of Kushwaha, which fueled the ongoing feud.

On Thursday, Kumar made comments about a tweet by Kushwaha the previous day in which Kushwaha had said that he would “not give his share”. He should understand that he has returned to the party for the third time after being separated from the party, but he was treated with respect. If he has any grievance, he should express it within the party as well. You don’t air your views publicly through media or social media,” Kumar told PTI.

Earlier, Chief Minister Kumar had said that Kushwaha had a history of “coming and going” from the party, and was free to take his own decision.
