The first session of JEE Main exam will begin today, January 24. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the admit cards for appearing in the JEE Main 2023 exam. Candidates can download the admit card on the official website of NTA. jeemain.nta.nic.in,

JEE Main Admit Card contains information like date, time, exam center information and roll number. Students are advised to read all the instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully.

JEE Main 2023: Dress code and instructions for the exam read below

1) Students are advised to wear low heels or sandals. According to the instructions they should avoid shoes like shoes.

2) Long sleeve clothes are not allowed in the examination center so wear light clothes with half sleeves. If you wear a specific dress for a religious purpose, reach the test center early for mandatory frisking.

3) Take a printout of your admit card, photo ID, photograph etc. for verification.

4) Handbags and any kind of electronic devices are not allowed inside the examination centre.

5) Do not carry cap, scarf, sunglasses, watches etc. The exam console will display a clock so that candidates can track the time.

6) Students must note that they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall if they are not carrying the physical copy of their admit card.

The engineering examination (Paper 1, BE/B.Tech) will be conducted on January 24, 25, 29, 30, 31 and February in two shifts daily. Paper 2, Architecture and Planning paper will be held on January 28 in single shift. The second session exam will be held in April.

The exam will be conducted in 13 languages ​​- English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
