At a center in Moosarambagh, parents claimed that the students were stopped at the center gate due to server issues, despite reporting ahead of time for the 9 am shift. Due to this, the morning shift examination could not start even at 10:30 in the morning. According to one of the parents, the students were allowed inside the examination center only after the parents started protesting. “After the protest, we were told that the server was down on one floor,” said the parent named Venkateswaralu.

Another parent alleged that there were glitches in the registration process due to which the examination was delayed. “Before entering the examination hall, the hall ticket is scanned and the student details are captured for registration without which the examination will not start. So, there was a problem with respect to scanning and registration,” said the parent.

Another student said she was asked to bring two photographs as she had only one. And, even when she managed to return on time, she was refused entry to the examination centre. Reportedly, due to the delay in the first shift of JEE Main 2022, students had to wait for a long time for the second shift of the exam.
