JEE Main Exam Analysis: Section-wise, Mathematics was comparatively rated as the toughest, followed by Physics and Chemistry as the easiest of all the sections.

students appeared for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 4th session today – 1st September – The exam was found to be moderately difficult. Students reported that most of the students’ questions in the exam were from the Class 12 syllabus and fewer questions were asked from the Class 11 syllabus. Section-wise, Mathematics was rated as the comparatively toughest among the sections, followed by Physics and Chemistry as the easiest of all the sections.

Academician Saurabh Kumar, Director, Vidyamandir Classes, said, “The exam was on expected lines. Mathematics was the toughest of the sections and had most of the questions from probability, calculus, algebra and trigonometry.”

“Some numerical based questions require lengthy calculations. In Physics, the numerical based questions were lengthy. The students felt that this section was long but easy. Chemistry was the easiest with most of the questions being straight from NCERT,” said Ramesh Batlish, expert FIITJEE.

This is the second last attempt in the engineering entrance exam this year. Final exam is pending on 2nd September Fourth session result and rank list will be released around 10th September. Those who make it to the top 2.5 lakh ranks will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced – IIT admissions as per schedule from September 11.
