According to their father Jignesh Sharma, an IFS officer, they received a confirmation with their enrollment numbers after their sons announced they were twins along with other details.

The twins were supposed to go to Jaipur with their mother, they had to get the admit card on the NTA website on January 23, two days before the exam.

However, the last-minute denial by the NTA on the grounds of questionable credentials affected the brothers’ year-long preparation for the exam, the father alleged.

He claimed that the two brothers received separate emails from the NTA on January 23, informing them that their admit cards had been withheld and asking them to explain.

“Despite promptly sending clarifications along with documents on the given email, the brothers are yet to receive any response.” The father also claimed that he tweeted several times and his sons called the helpline numbers of NTA but there was no response.

“It is astonishing how the NTA can be so careless and negligent towards the future of the students.” Due to non-allotment of admit cards”, Anurag Sharma told PTI claiming that he is yet to receive any response from the testing agency.

The twins had to return to Kota from Jaipur on January 25 without appearing for the exams and are living in a PG with their mother Monali Sharma, a homemaker.
