Jessica Chastain praises SS Rajamouli’s epic ‘RRR’

Oscar winner Jessica Chastain is the latest Hollywood A-lister to join in the praise of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR,

“Watching this movie was such a party,” Chastain wrote on Friday, sharing a post by Variance Films, the official distributor RRR in America.

The official Twitter handle of the film replied to her tweet and wrote, “Jessica, you made us happy enjoying RRR.”

Starring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in lead roles, RRR Follows a pre-independence fictional story woven around two real-life Indian revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem – in the 1920s. It also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan in lead roles.

released theatrically last March, RRR Reported earnings of over Rs 1,200 crore at the global box office. The Hindi version of the film premiered on Netflix on May 20, 2022, and soon became the most popular film from India on streamers worldwide.

The makers are currently gearing up for the Hollywood awards season, where its distributor Variance Films has launched a massive campaign to get the film recognized in general categories at various festivals.

Last year, RRR Received two Golden Globe nominations Best Picture – Non-English and Best Song for ‘Naatu Naatu’. followed by Five Nods for the Critics’ Choice Awards Best Film, Best Director, Best Foreign Language Film, Best Lyrics and Best Visual Effects for “Naatu Naatu”.
