JNVs extend registration for class 6 admission for Nagaland candidates

JNVST Class 6 Admission: Nagaland candidates now have till March 10 to fill online application at navodaya.gov.in

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the online application deadline for admission in class 6 through Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) for candidates from Nagaland. The last date of registration has been postponed due to administrative reasons.

Nagaland candidates now have time till March 10 to fill the online application at navodaya.gov.in. “Due to administrative reasons, the application form submission period for Nagaland State candidates will resume from 19 February 2023 to 10 March 2023,” reads a sign on the official website of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

NVS Class 6 Admission 2023: Documents Required

Signature of the candidate – The size of the document should be between 10-100 kb.

Parent’s Signature – The size of the document should be between 10-100 KB.

Candidate’s Photograph – The size of the image should be between 10-100 KB.

Certificate signed by the candidate and parents and attested by the headmaster of the school – Image size should be between 50-300 kb.

In case the candidate does not have an Aadhaar number, the residence certificate of the parent issued by the appropriate Government agency has to be shown.

JNVST Class 6 Admission 2023: How to register

Step 1: Visit the official website of Navodaya Vidyalaya.

Step 2: Click on JNV Class 6 Admission 2023 link available on the homepage.

Step 3: As a new page appears, candidates can fill the basic asked questions to start with the registration.

Step 4: Thereafter candidates can fill the JNVST Application Form, submit all the required documents and finally submit the form by paying the application fee.

Step 5: Download the final confirmation page and keep a hard copy for future reference.

Meanwhile, for students from other parts of the country, the online correction window was available from February 16 to 17. JNV Selection Test will be conducted on 29th April, Saturday at 11:30 AM. The admit card for the same will be issued a few days before the exam. The result of JNVST Class 6 Admission is expected to be declared in June this year. The selection test is mandatory for all students seeking admission in class 6 in JNVs for the academic session 2023-24.
