JNVST 2022: JNV Class 9 application deadline extended till November 15, exam on April 9

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the registration deadline for Lateral Entrance Selection Test (LEST) 2022 for admission in class 9. Earlier the deadline for registration was fixed as October 31, which has now been extended till November 15. The date extension comes as a big relief Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Candidates who could not register due to any reason. Interested candidates who have not yet registered for NVS LEST 2022 can do it on the official portal, navodaya.gov.in.

The written test for the selection of candidates will be held on 9th April, 2022 at the JNV of the concerned district or at any other NVS-designated center.

NVS LEST 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Only applicants enrolled in class 8 in the government recognized school of the district where JNV is located for the academic year 2021-22 are eligible to apply for LEST 2022. Candidates who had passed their class 8 exam in the previous academic year are not eligible for this. Apply for the selection process.

Candidates born between 1st May 2005 and 30th April 2010 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply for LEST 2022.

Step 1. Log on to NVS official portal

Step 2. Click on the Lateral Admission Admission link in class 9 available on the homepage

Step 3. You will be redirected to a new page where you can complete the registration process by providing the required details

Step 4. Login and fill the application form

Phase 5. NVS LEST 2022. Cross-check the entered details before finally submitting your application for

Step 6. Save a copy of LEST 2022 application for future reference

NVS LEST 2022: Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination to be held on April 9, 2022. This 2.5 hour test will consist of one objective type paper with OMR sheet. The questions will be of class VIII level which will be from Hindi, English, General Science and Mathematics subjects. The medium of answering the paper will be Hindi and English.
