Joe Biden says Elon Musk’s ties with other countries are worth watching

Refraining from commenting on Elon Musk’s involvement in anything inappropriate, US President Joe Biden on Wednesday said Tesla founder Elon Musk’s relationship with other countries is worth watching.

“I think Elon Musk’s cooperation and/or technical ties with other countries deserve attention,” he told reporters at a White House news conference on Wednesday.

“I’m not suggesting whether or not he’s doing anything inappropriate. I’m suggesting it’s worth a look. All I’ll say is, Biden Responded to a question whether he thinks Musk is a threat to US national security.

Earlier in the day, Joe Biden called the midterm elections a “good day” for democracy and also took a dig at Republicans for not being a huge ‘red wave’.

He expressed his confidence in American democracy and said that the American people’s vote has re-validated America’s democracy which has been tested in recent years.

Elon Musk’s tweet in favor of the Republican Congress

Significantly, the world’s richest Elon Musk openly supported Republican Congress and tweeted, “To be clear, my historical party affiliation has remained independent, with the actual voting history of the Democrats as a whole until this year.”

He also encouraged voters to cast their vote for Republicans. He cited the reason for equal representation of both sides in America.

Musk tweeted Monday, “To the free-minded voters: Shared power prevents the worst excesses of both parties, so I recommend voting for a Republican Congress, because the presidency is Democratic.”

“Hardcore Democrats or Republicans never vote for the other side, so independent voters are the ones who decide who’s in charge!” He added.

The USA voted on Tuesday to decide who will control the Senate and the House of Representatives. According to the latest trends, Republicans are leading in 186 seats. At the same time, the Democrats are ahead of Donald Trump’s party in 162 seats.
