Johnny Depp receives standing ovation at London concert ahead of Amber Heard case verdict

As the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard case remains under jury deliberation, Depp rocks it for the second night in a row at a Jeff Beck concert. According to a report in The Guardian, after his surprise performance in Sheffield, the Pirates of the Caribbean star performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Beck introduced him as someone who had come knocking on my dressing room door about five years ago and we haven’t stopped laughing since. Depp was on stage for about 20 minutes and the moment went viral on social media when the audience gave him a standing ovation.

While opinions from social media users have clearly leaned in Depp’s favor in the highly publicized defamation lawsuit, scores of fans have taken root for him outside of court and elsewhere as well. The standing ovation left Depp’s fans emotional.

Earlier, according to The Mirror, Depp made a surprise appearance at The Jeff Beck Show in Sheffield on Sunday night. Beck is currently on his European tour. Snow and Depp sang a cover of John Lennon’s ‘Isolation’ in 2020 and that was the song that rocked Depp that night. At the Royal Albert Hall, songs by Jimi Hendrix, Marvin Gaye and Lennon were covered by Depp and Beck.
