Musab Mubedin, the restaurant owner’s son, explained, “The idea of ​​having a bed in a restaurant began as a joke and decoration, to reflect the sleepiness that Mansaf diners experience after consuming a high-fat meal. ” arab news,

He added that some customers had asked restaurant staff to “put them to bed” because they were feeling sleepy after eating the dish.

“So we brought beds and set them up in a separate section in the restaurant. Customers now use them for a quick nap after a mansaf meal,” Mr Mobidin said.

He said that mansaf is a fat-rich food cooked with lamb meat, rice and jamid (ghee). “These ingredients together are just a recipe for sleepiness and total exhaustion.”

The restaurant-furnished bedroom has an air conditioner and is also quiet, providing neatness-lovers a good opportunity to snooze, said one outlet.

The restaurant is named after the ancient Moab kingdom in the southern city of Karak in Jordan and serves only mansaf.
