‘Just like Lord Krishna…’: Nitin Gadkari lauds CM Yogi Adityanath’s tough action against criminals, mafias

Gorakhpur: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has lauded Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for taking quick and stern action against criminals and mafia and strengthening the law and order situation across the state. Gadkari also compared CM Yogi to Lord Krishna and said that Yogi is destroying evil forces as Lord Krishna did during his incarnation.

“Just as Lord Krishna has said in the Bhagavad Gita that whenever the influence of harmful, unjust and tyrannical forces on the society increases, he incarnates to protect the people. Similarly, Yogi Ji in Uttar Pradesh Have taken strong steps against it. Evil forces to protect the common man.”

The Union Minister said that under the leadership of CM Yogi, “Ramrajya” is being established to remove poverty and ensure public welfare. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Gadkari said, “Uttar Pradesh will soon emerge as the most prosperous state under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.”

Gadkari on Monday laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 18 projects of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in Gorakhpur. Gadkari said that the state is witnessing massive development with huge investment.


Recalling his earlier statements of making UP roads like America, the Union Minister said that after 2014, the length of National Highways in Uttar Pradesh has doubled and road works worth Rs 5 lakh crore will be taken up by the end of 2024. It will take place in the state.

Gadkari said, “These projects are either being inaugurated, or foundation stones are being laid on this holy land of Baba Gorakshanath, this will encourage investment in Uttar Pradesh and boost industrial development. The Union Road Transport Minister also gave detailed information about the completed, under construction and proposed projects of National Highways in Uttar Pradesh.
