“The prices of flour have gone up by 30 per cent, vegetables by 50 per cent, some grains and many essential medicines are difficult to get,” said a resident of Kabul.
Restrictions on cash withdrawal from banks have also created complications. No more than 20,000 Afghans have been evacuated per week.
“Now the issue of survival comes to the fore and the threat of suffering is the primary cause of despair,” residents of Kabul told TASS.
