Kajol has revealed what she would have done as Anjali if given a chance more than 24 years after the release of one of her biggest hits, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The actress said that after the character change, she would never wear a saree again and would prefer to be with Aman instead of Rahul in the climax. Shahrukh Khan Salman portrayed the first half of Rahul, starring in a cameo as Aman.
In a recent interaction with Humans Of Bombay, Kajol talked about what exactly she would have done as Anjali, and it is quite an interesting take. The actress spoke about how she would not have worn a saree after the character transformation and would have chosen Aman over Rahul in the climax. Along with the trio, the film also stars Rani Mukerji who plays Tina.
Directed by Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Karan Johar, is likely to be a classic film for many people. Talking about her ideal Anjali, Kajol said, “My version of Anjali would never wear a saree.” She’ll wear track pants with those beautiful, expensive trainers and make it look good.”
When asked that Rahul (Shahrukh Khan) and Aman (Salman KhanKajol replied, “At the level of the script, maybe I would have gone with Salman’s character, but in the film, if you watch the film, there is no choice about the ending, it has to be like that”.
LM, Kajol plays Anjali, a short-haired tomboy who is secretly in love with her best friend Rahul (SRK). Eight years later, she sheds all her jeans and T-shirts, wears a saree, and has long hair.
