Speaking to reporters at the hospital, the mother accused the school management of not responding to her despite the continuous struggle in a peaceful manner for the past four days after the death of her daughter.

She alleged that her daughter’s death was a “planned murder” and demanded justice. He said a group of students had gathered peacefully to demand justice for his daughter’s death. He claimed that but the school management allowed its henchmen to indulge in violence and accused the peaceful protesting students of diluting the issue.

She alleged that the school management did not respond to her when she went to school after her daughter’s death. The woman said she did not want any further untoward incident and demanded death penalty to those responsible for her daughter’s death.

Meanwhile, CPI(M) state secretary K. Balakrishnan met the girl’s parents at the government hospital.

Around 40 police personnel, including two DSPs, have left Tiruchi for Kallakurichi district to maintain law and order.
