Thane: The Twin Cities Welfare And dombivli, which was witnessing a steady decline in the number of new Covid-19 cases, is experiencing a gradual increase once again for the past one week.
A total of 57 new cases of corona virus were reported in the district on Thursday. Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) Limitations.
Also, one person succumbed to the virus in the area.
Out of 57 cases, 27 persons tested positive for Covid-19 in Kalyan West alone. It was followed by Dombivli East (12), Dombivli West (8) and Kalyan East (7).
Mohane saw two new cases in the day, while only one new case was reported in Manda-Titwala area.
With 36 patients being declared COVID-free on Thursday, the total number of cured in the civic body’s limits has gone up to 1,37,665.
Presently 608 people are undergoing treatment in Kalyan and Dombivli.
