Kamal Haasan meets Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin after Vikram’s success; Pic. see

Kamal Haasan’s latest offering Vikram is ruling the box office. The total box office collection of the film till the second Saturday stood at Rs. 192 crore and the figure is expected to go up in the coming weeks. The Vishwaroopam actor has been garnering praise ever since the film hit theatres. With the film having a cash register at the box office, Kamal Haasan met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin at his camp.

The Hey Ram actor posted a picture with the CM on Twitter. In the picture posted by Kamal, we see both of them smiling as the actor presents a huge bouquet to the Tamil Nadu CM as a token of respect.

This is not the first time that the success of the film is being celebrated. Earlier, Megastar Chiranjeevi had hosted a success party at his residence. Apart from directors Lokesh Kanagaraj and Kamal Haasan, Bollywood Star Salman Khan were also among the attendees. Sharing pictures from the event, Chiranjeevi wrote, “Celebrating and honoring my dearest old friend Kamal Haasan for the stupendous success of Vikram at my home last night with my dear Sallu bhai, director Lokesh and team.”

He also said that Vikram was an intense and thrilling film and wished Kamal more power. In the pictures, Chiranjeevi is seen handing him bouquets of flowers and honoring Kamal Haasan with a shawl. The group picture is currently being shared by many and is going viral on social media. A user went to the comment section and called all three of them ‘goats’ of their respective industries.

Vikram is a Tamil action thriller written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Raj Kamal Films International. The film stars Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles, along with Kalidas Jayaram, Narayan and Chembam Vinod Jose in supporting roles. Suriya played a cameo role in the film. The film’s soundtrack and score is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography moderated by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj.

The film continues from the saddle and follows a black operations squad led by Amar, who track down masked vigilantes. He also learns of a drug syndicate group called Vetty Vagaira, led by Santhanam, who wants the missing drugs to be delivered to his cold-hearted boss Rolex.

Vikram has a positive debut and has become the highest grossing Tamil film of the year.
