Vijay Raghavendra is not only a well-known actor of Kannada cinema but is also a playback singer and TV presenter by profession. She has strengthened her acting credentials by starring in films like Avale Nanna Gelathi and Vinayaka Geleyara Balaga. He is now gearing up for his upcoming film Raghu directed by M Anand Raj. It is scheduled to release on 28 April. The trailer of this film was premiered on 16 April by Saregama Kannada. It depicts a drug distribution executive named Raghu (Vijay) robbing houses at night. He delivers medicines to these homes only. In the trailer, it seems that Raghu is administering an overdose of his medicine to the residents of those houses.
The trailer also shows Raghu speaking dialogues like “past deeds have made you evil, today I will release that evil”. Users feel that these dialogues indicate how Raghu can be mentally disturbed. Within a day of its release, Raghu’s trailer has garnered over 2,86,000 views.
Vijay’s followers loved the trailer and also how he is taking on a different role in his acting career. They were also curious as to why only Vijay was shown in the entire trailer and not any other actor. Shiv Rajkumar’s voiceover has also added to the excitement of this trailer.
