Kanpur: A case has been registered against a female teacher for brutally thrashing a class IV student of a private institute in the city. Govind Nagar After a video of the incident went viral on social media, the girl’s father lodged a complaint in the area.

He told that when the daughter returned from school on September 12, there were injuries on her eyes, cheeks, back and head.
On being asked, the daughter told that the teacher Jyoti Verma beat her fiercely by pulling her hair and also hit her with a duster. On this he reached the school and met the school officials and lodged his protest. After this the girl’s father lodged a complaint against the teacher.
Meanwhile, a video of the girl beating up went viral on social media. school manager Tej Narayan Pandey Said that the incident comes under the purview of inhuman act. “We have dismissed the teacher from service on the basis of preliminary findings,” Pandey said.
