Los Angeles:

Kanye West was “escorted” by two executives from Skechers’ corporate offices after the rapper arrived uninvited, the shoe company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Mr West – formally known as Yeh – has made headlines in recent weeks for his racist and anti-Semitic statements, which have led him to several flashy fashion collaborations.

He arrived at the Los Angeles offices “unannounced and uninvited”, Skechers said, adding that he was “engaging in unauthorized filming.”

The hip hop star appeared at the Paris fashion show this month wearing a shirt emblazoned with “White Lives Matter,” created as a slogan for the Black Lives Matter movement.

A few days later, he was taken out of Twitter and Instagram for threatening to “Go Death Con 3 on the Jewish people” in reference to US military readiness.

“Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West,” the company said Wednesday.

“We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate anti-Semitism or any other form of hate speech.”
