Kapaleeswarar Temple Vehicle Mandapam Opened

Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister PK Shekharbabu on Wednesday inaugurated a newly constructed Vahana Mandapam at the Kapaleeswarar temple in Mylapore. It has been built at a cost of Rs 25 lakh.

Small temple cars and vehicles have been erected on 1,200 square feet of land belonging to the temple. It was built by Viswanathan, a donor. The minister, who inaugurated an LED TV at the Navratri Mandapam of the temple, said that all the major temples in the state would have the same LED TVs, showing the history of the respective temples.
