Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is attending the F1 Grand Prix in Monaco which is scheduled from 26 May to 28 May. This will be Kareena’s first-ever appearance at the global event which was previously attended by global stars like Justin Bieber, Bella Hadid, and Christiano Ronaldo. The reports claimed that Kareena Kapoor will also attend the practice session on 27 May and may interact with the GP drivers.

“The opening day of practice in the principality will take place on May 26, followed by a qualifying day on May 27 and, finally, the Grand Prix itself on May 28, with another exciting weekend of F1 action in store,” the official website of Formula 1 said.

F1 Monaco Grand Prix in 2023 will showcase an extensive timetable, including a total of three practice sessions taking place on both Friday and Saturday. Following these sessions, the qualifying race will be held on Saturday, determining the starting positions for the main event on Sunday.

On Friday’s session of the Monaco Grand Prix, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen emerged as the fastest in a closely contested second practice session. He recorded slightly faster lap times than the Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.

Considering the significance of qualifying and securing a favorable track position on the narrow and winding streets of Monte Carlo, the second practice session (FP2) witnessed intense competition for quick single-lap performances. Initially, drivers used medium and hard tires before switching to the soft compound for the first time during the weekend, adding further excitement to the proceedings.

About Monaco track

Monaco stands out as the track with the shortest distance on the racing calendar, yet it requires the most laps to complete. Notably, it is the only race that falls below the 300km mark, and merely 34% of the track allows drivers to unleash their cars at full throttle.

One of the notable features of the Monaco circuit is the hairpin at turn six, which spans 180 degrees. This particular corner is renowned for its slowest speed of the entire racing season, with cars maneuvering through it at a mere 45kph.
