Kareena Kapoor Khan on Wednesday confirmed that she will star in filmmaker Rhea Kapoor’s next venture.
Kareena, who has previously collaborated with Rhea in “Veere Di Wedding”, said the upcoming film is “a little different” from her 2018 film.
“I’m doing a film with Rhea (Kapoor). It’s not ‘Veere 2’ (‘Veere Di Wedding’). It’s a story of three women. It’s going to be a little different. It’s a super cool and funny story. , said the 41-year-old actor.
Kareena revealed that the makers have finalized the cast for the film and are expected to start production by the end of this year or early 2023.
“Riya has two wonderful actors. I can’t reveal the cast, but I am very excited. I can’t wait for them (announcement of the film). It will start (shooting) by the end of this year or by January ..”
Kareena will next be seen in “Lal Singh Chaddha”, the official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks’ 1994 classic “Forrest Gump”, alongside superstar Aamir Khan. The much-awaited film is scheduled to release on August 11.
He recently finished shooting for the feature film adaptation of the Japanese bestseller “The Devotion of Suspect X” directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film will premiere on Netflix.
