Be it her birthday trip to Paris or celebrating National Handloom Day, the actress is always on a hunt for excuses to dig into sweet treats. Karisma leaves us drooling with her many posts that give us a glimpse into her food binges. Karisma recently made her Instagram family hungry once again with a rather mysterious Insta Story. She shared a photograph, of a chocolate fudge cake with a vanilla cream layer in the centre, on her Instagram handle. The text accompanying the photo read, “IYKYK”.

Well, can you guess why Karisma might have chosen to relish such a yummy cake on this day specifically? For the Kapoor-Pataudi family, August 16 surely calls for much celebration. After all, it marked Karisma’s brother-in-law and Hum Saath – Saath Hain co-star Saif Ali Khan’s 53rd birthday. While we couldn’t get a glimpse of Karisma, Saif apparently had an intimate birthday party with other members of his family. His wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan dropped a happy picture of the celebrations. It showed the actor and all his kids Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh posing for a snapshot. We also spotted two delicious-looking cakes at the side. “Best dad,” read the text on one of the balloons in the backdrop. Kareena captioned the post: “And it is a Happy Birthday indeed…”

Sara Ali Khan also shared a video on Instagram Stories, wherein she and her father Saif Ali Khan were seen cutting a cake. Let us tell you, Saif Ali Khan’s birthday was celebrated with three giant cakes. What looked to be a white forest fruit cake was kept next to a chocolate mud cake and a chocolate fudge cake.
