Karnataka Animal Husbandry Minister can’t tell goat from cow: Congress leader Siddaramaiah

Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah on Saturday attacked state Animal Husbandry Minister Prabhu Chauhan, calling him a “fool” who cannot differentiate goat from cow.

Taking to social media, Siddaramaiah posted a series of tweets in which he criticized the state Animal Husbandry Minister and the functioning of the state government. He wrote in Kannada, “This minister is not fluent in any language including Kannada. Such people are not fit to be legislators.”

Minister Prabhu Chauhan had said that by January 15 all the cattle in the state would be vaccinated, but till now 10 to 15 lakh cattle have not been vaccinated. Such ineligible ministers are in the BJP government. Be an MLA, wrote Siddaramaiah.

The minister said, “We supported the JDS to prevent the communal BJP from coming to power. However, the coalition government could not be sustained by HD Kumaraswamy. He resorted to staying at the Westend Hotel and not allowing MLAs and ministers to meet him. lost power.” Said.

Hitting out at the BJP, the minister made the comparison, saying, “BJP leaders paid Rs 15 to 20 crore to each MLA and formed the government through ‘Operation Kamala’ under Yediyurappa.”

The minister claimed, “In 2013, we fulfilled 158 out of 165 promises made and started 30 new programmes. The BJP made 600 promises in 2018, of which 50 to 60 were not fulfilled.”

Siddaramaiah said that by imposing 18 per cent tax on pens, pencils, books and curd, the government has put more burden on the common man.

However, Congress has decided to give Rs 20,00 per month to every household owner and 200 units of electricity per month free of cost.
